Only about 4% of expanded polystyrene foam packaging is polystyrene, the rest is air. Polystyrene is the ideal material for protecting sensitive products during transport and storage.

The Recycling Process

Collection and Storage

Receiving of waste materials from third party drop offs or from our own collections. Storage of plastic waste into various types and grades.

 

Sorting and Cleaning

Sorting and cleaning of plastic waste to ensure free of contaminants. Washing and drying of plastic waste to remove paper, food particles, oil, etc.

 

Conversion

Granulation of clean and dry high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) and other rigid plastics. Densification/extrusion of expanded polystyrene (EPS). Milling of expanded polystyrene (EPS) into beads.

 

Packaging and Dispatch

Packaging and storing of finished recycled products. Dispatch of finished goods to various customers.
